I do read young adult books on occasion, but they have to have a WOW factor. The market (at least this one) seems to be inundated with this genre lately, and many just aren't grabbing my attention ... which is the case with this book. Nothing about the first impression changed my view on that, though I'm sure there's an audience for it.
