The writing is good and the story is interesting so far.
I wasn't a fan of the random bit of 3rd person writing between chapter one and two, it might work if there are more breaks like that throughout the book that lead somewhere interesting (hard to tell form the first look).
The cover is beautiful. I like the sunflowers and the sunflower art inside the book.
