My very first impression as I read the early pages is that I was drowning in adjectives and metaphors. Yet, I stayed afloat and was quickly pulled into the current of the complicated relationships, mysterious backstory, and hint of romance. I’m curious if there’s symbolism with the sunflowers on the stunning cover and title page.
