We Are the Brennans by Tracey Lange was so shocking to me. For some reason, I wasn't expecting to love it but I really did. I think because largely, character driven plots are not too exciting to me but this had me hooked from page 1. I was intrigued by each member's story so deeply and loved how the family grew apart and then back together. There are so many moments that you have to examine and think "how would I react to this in my life" and you could see how people make the decisions that they make.
Lange brings us a well written plot that introduces us to strong characters who intertwine beautifully together to bring us a knock it out of the park novel. I rated this five stars and it deserved every single one of them. I would love to know what happens in the future with all of the siblings. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next and I will be first in line to purchase it!
