Just like all families the Brennans aren’t perfect, but they do love each other in their own way. Tracey Lange is an amazing storyteller, weaving the lives of a big Irish family, lost young love, and a bit of twist at the very end. I listened to the audiobook and usually listen to audio books only when I'm doing something active like exercising, but this audiobook had me up until the middle of the night. I couldn't wait to find out how it ended. The narrator was great. A really good heartfelt story about the power of family. The author did an amazing job bringing all the pieces together and really depicting a close knit group regardless of how they are feeling about each other at the time they will stand by their family. It just goes to show that everyone could use a little more communication. I was pleased with the end of the story as there was a “happy ending”.
