First I was captivated by the cover art. It is simple yet I knew it had to have something Irish to do with it which intrigued me because my father’s family is from Ireland. I also love stories where the main character deserts their past and eventually has to go back to make amends or face what they did when they were younger. I always think it’s so interesting when they go back and what happens when they’ve changed but people back home haven’t changed much. I can relate to that in my own life definitely. I’m interested why the main character goes home after a car accident she caused. I’m interested in that store and to see where that will go. I also am in need of a good fiction read right now so this might be the ticket for me. I already have this as want to read on Goodreads because it has so many good reviews! I think this will be a good escape read for the summer!
