This story follows the events after Sunday's car accident in which she drove intoxicated. She returns to her hometown, her family and her ex fiance whom she abandoned. Upon arrival she soon discovers that she's not the only one with secrets.
My favorite thing about this book is the slow but steady build. There was never a lull, but instead was a page turner for me. Instead of waiting til the very end for the details, we are given the answers midway through, which allowed for more twists which I absolutely loved.
I loved the different characters and the representation that was shown in Shane as a individual with a development disability.
The ended, although not completely shocking to me was still a great ending and I loved that it left it up to the reader to imagine how the characters would handle such a predicament.
