Five years ago, Sunday Brennan abruptly left her family and fiancé in New York and moved to Los Angeles.
She wakes up in the hospital after she’s injured in a car accident she caused while driving drunk. Her brother is waiting by her side, ready to take her home.

In an attempt to start over, Sunday slides right back into family life with her father and brothers, though they’re still confused and hurt at why she left in the first place. She starts chipping in at the family run pub, a venture that her brother has taken on with her ex-fiancé...who is now married...and everyone’s lives are turned upside down in the wake of her return.

I loved loved loved this book, and this family. I couldn’t read it fast enough while simultaneously never wanting it to end. Each character was flawed but loveable, and had a unique voice and viewpoint. They felt like family. The story was told through multiple perspectives, and the transitions were flawlessssss ending in dialogue and picking up in the same conversation in another’s view.

Mostly character driven, but the plot was so bingeable, I HAD to keep reading. Family secrets, mystery, healing past trauma, romantic tension, what’s not to love!?

I highly recommend this book, especially if you love character driven family sagas, but even if you don’t. I can’t wait to see what Lange comes out with next.
