Oh my goodness, I loved this book so much that I absolutely can not believe I forgot to write a review for it the moment I put it down! It was a busy time this summer as I was wrapping up my Summer TBR pile, so I suppose this one somehow just slipped on through!

At any rate -- I truly, thoroughly loved this book. It was just such a good contemporary family drama novel, much in the same vein as "The Nest," which I also really loved a few years ago. It had just the right amount of family drama, suspense, romance, etc., to be the perfect combination for a good book to curl up with.

This may sound crazy, but the whole time I was reading, I also got a "Virgin River" feel to the book. I guess it was the mix of sibling drama, the pub setting, and a little bit of the bad guy coming in to stir up trouble. Maybe it was just the timing of having watched one and starting reading the other, but I did feel some sort of connection there.

All in all -- a great read I'd recommend to lovers of chic lit!
