Great Read
I loved this story about the Brennans and their relationships. I normally don’t like so many changing perspectives, but I actually enjoyed all the voices of this book! Normally I find that things are spoiled by other characters when you change perspectives so often, but I didn’t feel that way with this book. I liked how each chapter started with the last spoken words of a character.
It’s also refreshing when you read about characters that struggle with real life problems and doubts. Fears, insecurities, dreams, and roles within our family define us and Tracey Lange does a great job of capturing that with the Brennans. It felt like a very real family and not just characters serving a purpose in Sunday and Kale’s story. I also love that the author showed the differences in the relationships between siblings.
I totally recommend this book.
