This book starts with Sunday Brennan waking up in a hospital after a drunk driving accident. It also starts with a lot of questions. Why did she run away from her life and family? What secret is she hiding?
As she returns home to recover and then help with the family business, she realizes that in order to help her family save the business she will have to expose the secrets from her past. The secrets will change her family forever as they are forced to face painful mistakes that were made.
I love how relatable the characters were - and how the author made you feel the family dynamics. Each chapter started with a different character's perspective, and I liked how the beginning of each chapter started with a sentence from the end of the previous chapter. It really helped keep the flow together when going from one character to the next.
