I was so excited when I got this arc in the mail. When I didn’t pick it for my BOTM pick I instantly regretted it. I can see why it is the BOTM and why everyone is talking about it on Instagram.
Sunday Brennan is living in LA (where she told the family she was working a super successful job and had lots of friends) but decided to drink and drive and wrecks her car. Her brother flies out to get her from the hospital and sees her bare empty apartment and sees that she hasn’t been telling the family the whole truth. Her brother convinces Sunday to fly home to live while she is recovering. She discovers that things witb the family pub aren’t doing as well as they appear to be.
This story is told through multiple points of view, but the segways are flawless. It literally continues sentences on the next chapter. I have never seen a book do that, and it was so creative and helpful. Especially when reading about a large family!
