This was a fun family drama that was a quick easy read. I was sucked in by the characters, but I was left wanting a bit more from the complexity of the drama. The story alternates between all the characters and while there are a lot of them, it helped that the last sentence of one chapter/POV was the first sentence of the next character POV. I thought this was a creative way to do it and it worked really well. I do wish there had been a family tree because we don’t get to know some of the siblings more until later and I couldn’t keep them straight. This is a much slower burn than I expected, and the pacing was a bit off at times. The ending took a very unexpected turn which I always enjoy, but some of the other storylines were more predictable. The writing style was really easy to read and I really liked the character development. This is a debut author and I will definitely be interested in seeing what she comes up with next. Pick this one up if you are looking for a messy but fairly light family drama/mystery. 3.5/5🌟 rounded up
