Getting to glimpse into the lives of the Brennan family was a treat! Tracey Lange did a fantastic job of making this family feel completely real. She pulled the curtain on the good and bad times of this family and the members of it. The Brennans are truly like any other family, happy and lovable members, but humans with flaws as well. I throughly enjoyed reading the story from multiple perspectives. It helped build the tension, but also easily satisfied points of tension. The book, while intriguing at first, was a little slow in the beginning. It took a bit for me to get into this book because of that, and the amount of characters I felt I had to remember. I had to write them done with notes by their names so I wouldn't forget who was who. The story lines, however, were very intriguing and heart wrenching, so it made up for the abundance of characters. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would be interested in reading more from Tracey Lange.
