I come from an Irish Catholic family, so that immediately made me interested in this book. The first 2 chapters set a good beginning. There's enough "mystery" to keep me wanting more (whose funeral? why is business bad? what happened with Kale?), but not too much that I'm frustrated. It doesn't seem like it will drag out. The descriptions are great. I could really feel like I was *in* the story. The cover gives a great tone to what I know about the book so far.
