I was hesitant when I read about this. I was afraid it would be just another story about a white family. While it could still turn out that way, I found the first look incredibly intriguing. I love a family saga type story and I think this could fill that need. As someone with siblings, that aspect of the story resonated with me and I am eager to see how their relationships shift and play out. The cover is also simple but incredibly beautiful. I have high hopes for this story!
