I’m a therapist, so I love me a good family dysfunction novel. I like the idea of juxtaposing the environments between New York and California, along with the contemporary trope of the Irish-family-secrets. I also don’t love a novel that focuses too much on “likeable” characters, so this looks perfect. Cover is great too- understated, but impactful.
