Content warnings: drunk driving, 'r' slur, dementia
“You have fucked this up on a grand scale.”
The cover of this book immediately made me think of Ireland, with the last name and the clovers. I like the texturing as well! I was immediately drawn in as someone whose ancestors are mostly from Ireland, and did not read the synopsis first because I like to be entirely surprised.
I was thrown immediately by the drunk driving scene, but that is my own fault for not reading the synopsis. This appears to be a dual POV of two siblings, which I found enjoyable.
I'm curious to read more and see if the Brennans manage to repair their family relationships!
