I was pulled into the story from the first paragraph. Sunday moved as far across country as possible, to escape family drama. And yet, in the opening scene, we see that she is still suffering. Her character is strong but with weaknesses, family ties are tense but intact. Despite having read only pages, I feel vested to learn Sunday’s story.
