Intriguing but Too Much Profanity
The writing style was engaging and made me interested in what was being said. The way the author writes makes even the description of our main character driving interesting. The way the description of driving under the influence is described was done really well. We could see what the character saw, and feel what the character felt. I also think it could be used as a good reminder to what drinking and driving can do.
I’m also attracted to the fact that this is a dual perspective book. I always love books like that. The two perspectives from siblings also leads me to believe this is going to be a touching story about family. Almost everything about this book intrigues me. However, I’m not keen on the amount of cursing in this book. That’s an immediate deterrent for me.
