We Are the Brennans opens with a car accident. Jackie has lived in CA for the past several years and makes a bad judgement call. This results in her brother, Denny, coming to CA as her emergency contact. The family has a pub and it might be time or her to come home. Just in the opening chapters, I know that I will find the characters and their family flawed and relatable. I'm looking forward to reading more.
