From the first chapter, I was hooked. Starting the book, I wasn't sure what to expect. The simplicity of the cover and title does not give away much to what this book is about. However, I still wanted to pick it up! I am glad I did. Just from the preview I read, I can sense the complexities of the characters in the best possible way. The characters feel realistic and human. I'm excited to see more of Sunday and Denny specifically, and hopefully read some scenes that capture the dysfunction and heart of a family.
