The First Look of We are the Brennans by Tracey Lange was an engaging read. Clearly, it is a family drama with secrets to be revealed. Sunday hasn’t visited her family in four years. Known as the responsible one, it is out of character that she would be charged with a DUI. Sunday is lucky to be alive. She is bruised, lost her driver’s license and is about to return home to New York (from California) with her brother, Denny, her emergency contact. With a slew of issues going on in New York, Sunday is needed at home, but she needs to be cared for too. Family is messy and infuriating, but they are also a safe place to land when you need it most. I hope this proves to be true.
