The cover art does not pull me in, but the first few pages sure do! I love a good family drama, and I am ready to discover what happens with the family dynamics of Sunday and her clan.
The cover art and title does make it clear that it's an Irish family, so I think it is well-suited for that reason. However, it just doesn't draw me in. Maybe too simple.
The first chapter is well written and descriptive. I can easily picture Sunday swerving on the road, trying and failing to stay lucid. Every family has its drama, and I am very interested in reading about the Brennans!
