The opening pages were initially a little confusing the story jumped around a bit from my perspective. The story centers around the Brennan family who at one time had a close bond but has been torn apart by secrets. Sunday has just woken up in the hospital after getting in a horrible car accident one in which she caused and she has an unexpected visitor her brother Danny. Who like his sister is experiencing his own difficulties with trying to keep both his bar and his strained marriage together.
