I don’t love the cover, it reminds me too much of a John Green book and I hope that this will be less melodramatic. The cold opening of this book was great—Summer’s inner monologue is rich and detailed, plus full of tidbits about living as a transplant in LA without a singular goal. I am so ready for her impending reunion with her family after Denny’s visit to collect her. What family drama drove her across the country?
