I like the simplicity of the cover and the synopsis sounded interesting, and I’m always up to check out a book from this publisher. The writing in the sample was excellent and Sunday and Denny were well fleshed out characters that I could get invested in. I’m undecided if the subject matter is too heavy for me right now, but I would definitely continue reading this; I was hooked by the end of the excerpt.
