This is an interesting start to what I hope will be a messy, complicated, but also heartwarming story. I am interested in the pasts alluded to in the first couple of chapters and I appreciate that the reader is thrown right into the action. I enjoyed the writing and found it easy to read, yet detailed enough to immerse the reader.
