This book kept me guessing until the very end. With an ominous start of a mysterious tassle somehow involved in a crime, this book is told from several different perspectives, very evenly weighted, to give a thorough if incomplete picture.

I really enjoyed this book, which dove deep into characters inner workings and complicated motivations to tell a really interesting and compelling story. A good thriller with more there than just the plot. The author managed to keep everyone sympathetic while not letting anyone off as wholly innocent. Also excellent and believable depictions of obsession and his far it can drive people to do seemingly crazy things.

Four stars for Lisa Jewell’s “Watching You”
