A murder at the beginning pulls you right in...but the mystery lingers. Who was murdered...why...and by who? So many unanswered questions! The preview for “Watching You” was just enough to peak my interest!
I’ve only read one book by Lisa Jewell, but I really enjoyed it! She draws you in and keeps your attention.
Joey is newly married...Alfie was a “crush” she only knew for a short time. After her mother’s death, they returned to her home town and moved in with her brother and sister-in-law.
She sees a much-older man in the neighborhood...and another “school girl crush” is formed. She fantasizes about him...but they are both married. Will she become obsessed enough to act on her fantasies? I’m curious to find out more about these characters and finish this story!
