I think that I have came to the conclusion that this authors writing is just not for me. I found the plot and characters extremely boring. I did not care what was happening in the story or what was happening with the characters what so ever. Had I not been reading this book for a group read for my book club and for purposes of reviewing, then I definetly would have put it down and not thought twice about it after around 40 pages. With that being said, I think that there are much better thriller authors out there that could execute ththe synopsis and ideas of this story in a much better fashion. The story sounded intriguing but because of the lack of engagement and excitement in the writing I could not get into it.
