So glad I picked this up at the library and purchased the eBook! I was able to finish this relatively fast considering I barely read on the weekdays (work, bleh). I’m sure there are cities like ‘Melville Heights’ where your neighbors know all and everything about you. All the main characters are connected and go through their POV’s throughout the book. Someone is found murdered in their home and each must tell their versions leading up to the evening of the murder to the detectives. Main characters: Tom Fitzwilliam (irresistible headmaster), Freddie Fitzwilliam (son of Tom, who also stalks the neighbors), Joey Mullen (young - recently married neighbor), and Jenna Tripp (student at the academy). Jenna doesn’t trust Mr. Fitzwilliam and believes he is showing an inappropriate interest in her best friend Bess. Not to mention Jenna’s mother also has a fixed notion about Tom hiding something and stalking her. Joey is very much infatuated with Tom ever since meeting at a local bar and can’t shake her crush on him. Meanwhile, Freddie sits by the window and captures photos of everyone and their secrets. Who was murdered and who committed the crime? Great mystery and thriller! Highly recommend.
