I love Lisa Jewell books! She does such an excellent job at writing mesmerizing, page turning, thrillers that have far more to offer than meets the eye. The imagery and suspense that she creates is absolutely amazing and I have yet to read one of her books that I dislike. This is one of the best ones, even! I am so happy that I picked this one up, because it touches on so many fantastic points that I think a domestic thriller should and it provides the reader with the opportunity to enjoy the characters' development throughout the story, while also maintaining a fantastic and thrilling plot! This is something that I feel is lacking in the genre at times, with the rise of the summer popcorn thrillers, this is a fantastic smart domestic thriller and Lisa Jewell knocks it out of the park with an unforgettable narrator, fun story line, and great imagery throughout.
