I have never read Lisa Jewel's work before, but after reading the first couple pages of Watching You I knew she would be taking me on a suspenseful journey. The prologue, which set the pace for the remainder of the story, polled me in making me eager to find out how the story would unfold.
Someone has been murdered, but the identity of the victim was a mystery. The story features an eclectic mix of characters who piqued my curiosity. I was keen to spend time with and learn what made them tick. T was especially intrigued by Tom Fitzwilliam. Why is everyone so obsessed with him?
From the couple of pages read I enjoyed the author's writing style. Her attention to detail and descriptions made me feel as I was a part of the story. I would definitely read more from this author.
