I liked, but didn’t love it.

Let me start this review by saying that I love Lisa Jewell. I’ve read many of her books and always love them. However, I did not love this one. I liked it, but the twist or surprise in this book just wasn’t nearly as good as her other books. I expected the ending within like 50 pages. I did keep telling myself that it couldn’t be that because that would be way too obvious, but realized that’s what it was when I was finished the closed the cover. I think I’d still recommend this book to friends, but I will recommend that readers read The Family Upstairs and Then She Was Gone over this book because I enjoyed those much better. I still really enjoyed Lisa Jewell’s writing style throughout this book.
