I enjoyed this book, and love Lisa Jewell. This is not my favorite of hers, but it's an interesting read and I was intrigued the whole time. I love the way Jewell describes an area and makes you feel like you're there. I was immersed in this area and the lives of this neighborhood with lots of secrets and dark pasts. I love how Jewell connects everything at the end, and close all the loops. The characters in her stories are well-written, and this was no exception.
I also appreciated how Jewell writes about the complicated feelings of being a teen in this tech-centric world. And, how we all assume one thing and then she pivots and hands us a completely different ending and story that was not one I expected but it makes complete sense.
