Lisa Jewell does it again! Her books always suck me in right from the beginning. I could tear through any Lisa Jewell novel in a matter of hours. Lisa Jewell does a fantastic job of building suspense and keeping the plot twists coming. Flipping between various perspectives before tying it together in Melville, a quiet neighborhood has its share of interesting characters. Starting with a murder investigation, we learn all neighbors have a less than ideal life despite living in an ideal neighborhood. Each neighbor is watching each other closely. Some parts do drag a bit, but every detail Lisa Jewell incorporates is important to tying everything together. Each point of view had me guessing and doubting, this book is a puzzle waiting for you to put it together. A great thrilling read for those who are also fans of Ruth Ware and Liane Moriarty.
