Enjoyed it!
I’m a big fan of Lisa Jewell books. So I went into this book with high expectations. I wasn’t disappointed.
Joey Mullins falls in love with her neighbor Tom at first sight. But Tom and Joey are both married to other people. Tom is full of mystery and intrigue with a whole bundle of baggage following him around in the form of a teenage girl.
There’s plenty of backstory to tie all the current events together and keep you knowledgeable about who is doing what and why.
It all ties together beautifully in a nice story that is full of subtle suspense and questions.
I found myself thinking I had it figured out several times. And wrong every time.
I love books that do that! I recommend this book!
