This book left much to be desired. It was over-hyped on Instagram and I was excited.

This was a complicated mystery thriller. It followed Joey, a married want, who falls in love with Tom, a married man. It also features Jenna, one of Tom's students, who is convinced that Tom has an inappropriate relationship with her teenage friend. And Jenna's mom is crazy and thinks Tom is stalking her. OH. and Tom's son is a creep who is obsessed with Joey, Jenna, and any other teenage girl that walks by his house.

The plot was okay. It tried to have multiple twists and surprise points but I guessed almost all of them from a mile away. And the one I didn't guess was because Lisa Jewell deliberately hid it from the reader by having completely different character personalities and no reason to be suspicious of such a bland side character.
