Big Little Lies meets The Woman in the Window!!! I loved all of the characters POV's that we got in this book. I did manage to predict the murderer and why but there were lots of things that still had me extremely surprised. That is one of the things I loved most. Jewell deverts your attention to the things that are easy to pick up on which makes you miss what seems to be obvious. This is my second novel by Lisa Jewell and it will not be my last. I will say, she writes, in my opinion, more mystery/ suspense novels than thrillers. They are much more slow burn style and, knowing that about her writing, makes me love her books more so that I can have the appropriate expectations going into the day. My only reason for giving it a 3.5 star is that it was somewhat predictable, however, the story was so great! I love it when a book changes completely on the last page and, let me tell you, I was shocked and awed with how this surprise nugget of knowledge came out of nowhere!!! Well done!
