This is a story of obsession and whodunnit! There is a back story that you won’t find out until the end so it’s hard to figure out who it is. This was a good one with lots of small stories woven in to the big picture. I really enjoy Lisa Jewell's writing but it is very dark writing so be prepared for that. Sometimes when a thriller has a back story that you will never be able to figure out who the killer is, or why they are the villain that bothers me. But in this story the author does go in to most of the characters back stories so you know that they all have secrets and that there is just one small piece missing to figure out the mystery. I mean do you ever really know your neighbor even though you are so close to them every day!
