Do you ever feel like someone’s watching you? Freddie keeps an eye on the city block and has noticed some strange things happening especially with one of his new neighbours Joey. She seems to have a strange interest in his family and when a brutal murder happens he’s getting to the bottom of it.
This story was interesting as you basically know who did it from the beginning but the suspense lies in why they did it. There was lots of twists in this novel but I just didn’t love it. I’m not a huge fan of Lisa Jewell’s writing style I found a good chunk of the book boring and it just kind of fell flat for me when it was all said and done. I know people who love her though so this is just my opinion on the book and author.
