Thought provoking, do you really know who could be watching you?

Joey is recently married and has just moved into her brother's house where he lives with his pregnant wife. Tom Fitzwilliam is the recently appointed head of the local school, known for his ability to turn struggling schools into successes. He lives two doors down from Joey with his younger wife and son, Freddie, who enjoys watching the people of their town through his bedroom window. Jenna is in grade 11 at the local school, dealing with a paranoid mom who believes that she is always being watched. Told from the alternating perspectives of Joey, Freddie, and Jenna, the story examines how our lives are not really as private as we think they are.

I enjoyed this book. The author does a good job of making it seem like the story and characters are going in one direction and then changing that at the last minute. The big twist I didn't see coming until a few chapters before it happened; it was set up well and was believable. The book also made me think about how someone could find out a lot about my life without me knowing, either through social media or observing my every day actions.

Lisa Jewell continues to be a favorite author of mine, I look forward to what she puts out next and I will continue catching up on some of her old books I have not yet read!
