I was so stoked to see another psychological thriller featured on BookishFirst! My absolute favorite genre, and one that the authors are absolutely killing it in right now -- no pun intended!

Rewinding to January of that same year, readers witness Joey Mullen, an immature and childlike trained nursery nurse, as she visits the gravesite of her late mother, Sarah. Readers also become privy to the backstory of Joey Mullen, and how she came about to live in one of the iconic painted houses of Bristol’s Melville Heights as a newlywed with her husband Alfie.
