I was intrigued by the prologue and the police officer, Rose, discovering the body, only to find out later in the excerpt, or we’re to assume at least, Tom is dead. Did Joey commit the murder? Joey’s character seems like she will be in a crisis, however, I hope Joey and Tom do not ‘get together’ and respect each other’s marriages and their own selves. Fascinating read, i’d Definitely buy!
