This first look marks one of my first forays into this genre - one that I have always enjoyed and have recently re-devoured. And what better time than the month of October to get back in to a good thriller! The opening pages immediately entice you, putting you on the edge of your seat and checking over your shoulder. The juxtaposition to the introduction to our main character in such a vulnerable and compassionate position was genius. What a great first impression, indeed!
