I was immediately intrigued by the opening of Watching You, which starts out with a bang by introducing a mysterious murder scene. I quickly became connected to the main character, Joey, who is in her late twenties and appears to feel a bit lost in life and wants something more exciting. I have loved the other two Lisa Jewell books I have read because they keep you hooked the entire time you read them, and based on the small section of this book that I read, Watching You will be no exception. The cover is beautiful and colorful and is certain to pull readers to pick it up.
