I love a story that sucks me in immediately and this definitely did. We've got a crime scene that sounds very interesting. I'm also very interested in Joey and her thoughts about how her life is going. Which, in her mind, may be a bit lackluster. I got to the end of the chapter provided and I'm thinking NOOO! You've hooked me! I'm definitely going to have to get this for my bookshelves!
