The first few chapters of Watching You definitely built the suspense. I had a hard time following at first, but it slowly started to thread together. My guess is that the rest of the book will tie it all and it will certainly make a lot of sense. However, at the beginning, we are introduced to an old diary entry, a girl (that I thought was a boy at first because of the name) who lost her mother but got married while traveling (although we don't know why or how long she was away) and a strange fascination with an older (married) neighbor that seems to be involved in a murder case, that we also see a sneak peek of. Like I said, these all must weave together somehow and I am certainly intrigued to find out how.
