Truthfully I have never been able to complete one of Lacour’s novels in the past, therefore upon seeing “Watch Over Me” I immediately skipped over it- and my god do I regret that. “Watch Over Me” is exactly the book I have been looking for this year. The writing, the atmosphere, the characters, everything about this novel was utter perfection. Please don’t be a fool like I was; /read this book/. I will definitely revisit this novel often, and potentially Nina Lacour’s previous works as well.
